Free coding education for children ages 5–15 from immigrant and low-income families. Because great minds deserve great opportunities.
Kids Code and Play exists because access to technology education shouldn't depend on income or immigration status. We teach real coding, real thinking, and real confidence — at zero cost to families.
Giving underserved kids the same tools and knowledge their peers already have.
Teaching children to understand and work with AI — not just consume it.
When a kid ships code that works, something shifts. We see it every week.
We don't just teach a class and disappear. We stay connected and invested.
Tech Futures is where our strongest students learn to use professional AI tools — like Claude Code — to build production-ready software. Not toy projects. Real applications that solve real problems, built with the same tools professional developers use every day.
Tech Futures is invite-only. Students who demonstrate consistent attendance, curiosity, and commitment in our core program are selected by the instructor. If your child is in the running, you'll hear from us.
Students learn to use AI coding tools like Claude Code to plan, build, debug, and ship software — the way professional engineers actually work today.
Every student builds a production-ready application — deployed, functional, and ready for real users. No simulations, no pretend projects.
Understanding income, budgeting, savings, and how tech skills translate into real earning potential.
Students demo their products to peers, mentors, and community members in structured showcase sessions.
AI-powered study apps, quiz generators, interactive learning platforms
Smart budget trackers, meal planners, household management tools
Event organizers, resource finders, translation and language tools
AI story generators, recommendation engines, interactive trivia apps

Clear explanations with real-world analogies — Python, algorithms, AI — taught in plain language.
Pair programming, live projects, and code review sessions modelled on real industry practices.
Students solidify knowledge by teaching each other — the best way to know if you truly understand.
Celebrate wins, share takeaways, and leave every student feeling proud and ready for next week.
Our instructor makes learning easy. He takes his time to break down concepts to the level where we understand. He is patient with us and challenges us daily.
The class has given me the confidence to work through the Replit 100 Days of Python. I also love that our tutor relates with us at our level and encourages us to dream big. I have learned a lot outside coding in this program.
I was filled with pride watching my daughter explain concepts like algorithms using everyday real-world examples. The class has really made a difference.
