At Kids Code and Play, we believe in the power of creativity, kindness, curiosity and the agency to transform our lives through coding.For the past four years, we’ve been on a mission to bridge the digital divide by providing immigrant and low-income children (ages 5-15) with access to hands-on, project-based coding education.
Our programs are designed to nurture technical skills like coding, AI integration, problem-solving skills.
We focus on what truly matters: The child’s disposition towards learning, their ability to work effectively in teams, and their capacity to make ethical decisions. Every class, every project, and every experience begins with these principles at the heart.
We are committed to serving the immigrant and low-income families who can not afford to pay for afterschool coding programs and bootcamps .

Programs & Learning Model
Kids Code and Play is inspired by progressive education philosophies which focuses on learning by doing ( project-based learning) AI foundational skills and CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT during an 8 months Bootcamp period.
Program Overview
Duration: 8 months (32 weekly sessions)
Age Groups: 5-8, 9-12, 13-15
Class Size: 25 students per cohort
Delivery Model: Hybrid (In-person & Virtual)
- Mentorship : fireside chat with Immigrant software developers and AI engineers who will share their journey into tech and advice or learners.
- Kid’s finance : Friendly chat and games about finances
